Dictation for Monday: Can I ride my new bike?

In English this week we have finished our book. We have had great discussions on what we would do with a pot of gold, the children have worked hard this term and we have an exciting plan for the final few weeks of term. 

In maths this week we have been counting on within 20. For example if you had 12 banana's and your friend gave you 5 more how many would you have? The children are getting a good understanding of place value and starting to understand addition outside of 10.

In PSHE this week we have had great discussions on how to stay safe online. The children have a great understanding of what to do and who to speak to if they see something that upsets them.

Science was brilliant this week, the children are really using their knowledge and understanding to classify certain animals into the correct groups. This week we compared fish and birds, the children labelled a fish and they made their own bird which they labelled in their books.

The children have worked really hard this term - we are really impressed with how hard they are working. Have a great weekend.
