Your talk homework this week is to tell your adults at home all about multiplication and division facts for the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. For example, 1 x 5 = 5, therefore 5 divided by 5 equals 1... 2 x 5 = 10, therefore 10 divided by 5 equals 2, and so on...
What a super week! This week the children spent three days in their new classes, where they met their new teachers, new classmates and spent a little bit of time getting to know the new routines of year three.
The children came back to us on Thursday and told us all about their experience!
Arya enjoyed carving trees in Art. Madeline enjoyed playing some maths games with her new class. Carys enjoyed painting trees and carving trees and trying to improve her year three writing. Alfie enjoyed meeting his new teacher and doing some maths, and listening to a song in our French learning. Alex enjoyed improving his year three writing and doing some division in maths, as well as dodgeball with Lizell. Sonny enjoyed drawing the egg box dragon and writing about it in our English learning. Omar enjoyed everything about this week and is super excited about year three. James enjoyed dodgeball with Lizell and his new class, and enjoyed drawing Egg Box Dragon and meeting his new teacher. Hollie enjoyed finding the elder tree in the school grounds, and meeting her new classmates. Sophie enjoyed playing maths games with her new class. Jasper enjoyed learning about his new teacher and playing with playdough and carving trees! Kyan has enjoyed everything about year 2 learning as well as everything about his year three learning this week and has worked super hard. Charlotte has enjoyed dodgeball and writing about the Egg Box Dragon using lots of descriptive language. Emily-Rose has enjoyed carving and making her tree in Art. Ellie-Louise enjoyed dodgeball, as well as everything else that she's done this week in both classes!
We were really proud to hear how the children got on from their new class teachers, and hope that they had a fabulous week.
Enjoy the weekend, lets hope we have some super results on Saturday from the football and that we come back into school ready for our last full week of school!
Best wishes,
Thunberg Class
