Happy Easter

Homework: Please play as much Doodle Math as possible, read ready for an AR quiz on your return and learn your play parts. Enjoy your Easter break.

It's been a busy week with painting our salvation Easter cards, building and decorating our sustainable buildings, finishing Fractions and our newspaper reports. Everyone has worked so hard this term and made wonderful progress in their learning. As we move into our final term as Year 5 after Easter, we hope everyone can enjoy a well-earned rest and extra fun.

As you'll already be aware, the school is trialling DoodleMath, and we'd appreciate it if students could play on it whenever possible over the coming weeks. It's a personalised program that will first target any knowledge gaps prior to Year 5 so it should be really beneficial and the more they play, the more it learns from them. We have set assignments for pupils linked to Year 5 content as homework, but free play will also be of great benefit.  Whilst we have the trial, Doodle Maths will replace TTRockstars as an expectation (although it's still available to use if they wish to).

We will begin rehearsing our play the first week back and, with only a few weeks to rehearse, pupils have been asked to learn their parts fully before the start of the Summer term. We will give a list of recommended costumes when we return after Easter.

Have a wonderful break.
