In phonics, we have learnt a, s, t and p and are beginning to put together some words like sat, pat, tap. The children have all been writing the letters too. 

In maths, we have read the story Button Box and then learnt how to sort and classify buttons. We then explored matching and sorting of many different classroom resources.

We started French, learning the greeting Salut!

We also started music lessons and learnt the song 'I've Got a Grumpy Face'.

For Geography, the children worked on trying to remember their parents' names so if they ever get lost they can tell an adult and ask for help.

Today in RE, we talked about the Christian symbol of the cross.
