Year 5 has had a busy week in Maths learning multiples and beginning fractions. We have explored blog writing in computing and cyberbulling in Online Safety. Darin and Harrison enjoyed football in PE and Thomas enjoyed writing our fact files about coal mining in English. While Kitty enjoyed science as we continued to investigate reversible and irreversible reactions. 

In SPAG, Year 5 has been exploring the use of brackets, dashes and commas for parenthesis and the impact of varying sentence lengths. 

In Art, Year 5 began carving their lino designs and exploring the work of Lowry as we began developing ideas for our Industrial Revolution landscapes. 

Please remember to read daily and three times a week with an adult, practise your spellings and do TT Rockstars at least three times a week, also.
