Friday 16th May
This week was SATs week. We are so proud of the way all Year 6 children have conducted themselves this week; they have worked so hard, shown resilience, positivity and have been a credit to both Mrs Purser and Mrs Walker - thank you Year 6 - the whole school are really proud of you!
There is no homework set for you on SATs Companion this week - but you are very welcome to go on and try some practise tasks - why not try some Science activities? Instead of learning spellings this week, please learn the words for the song, 'Just Another Day'. The backing track is attached below.
Freya: This week was SATs week! It really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! Although we had to work really hard during the tests, we also got extended breaks and lots of time outside in the afternoons - this was lots of fun!
Cali: This week we found out which play we will be performing at the end of the year. I am very excited and am looking forward to finding which parts we will all be playing next week.
Ida: We knew we were having a surprise today but none of us knew what! After break Mrs Purser and Mrs Walker took us to the park where we had lollies, doughnuts and played Capture The Flag and Football. It was a great end to the week!
