In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 13th October

There are 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion - please complete these by next Wednesday (watch the videos to help you answer the questions).  Remember to read every day for at least 20 minutes. We will be checking whether you have reached your half term target next week by looking at points gained from quizzes you have taken.  Make sure you know this week's spellings for your quiz on Monday.  They are: bruise, convenience, embarrass, forty, interrupt, occupy, aggressive, pronunciation, shoulder, thorough.

Annabelle:  I loved tennis this week.  We practised rallying with a partner and had to react quickly.  It was fun!

Toby: I enjoyed doing soap carving in Art.  We used tools to create patterns and had to be very gentle.

Freya:  We had a debate in English and had to share our views but also be sensitive to the fact that others had a different opinion - this meant we had to choose our words carefully.

Bella:  Yesterday we had a visit from a Magistrate.  It was fascinating to find out about laws and the age of criminal responsibility, as well as some of the consequences/punishments given for different crimes.
