This week we visited the Methodist church. The children were very well behaved and listened to the speakers and answered several questions. 

We have started our skills builder challenge, Gallery Opening. The children have learnt about the skills speaking, aiming high and creativity. They are working in small groups using the theme of 'Around the World in 32 days' and creating art linked to this. Some groups have selected transport, some animals, some buildings and some even Ninja Turtles who I have been informed travel widely! 

In maths, we have used Rekenreks to subitise and make teen numbers.

In English, we have read the book- The Trouble with Dragons' and learnt about the damage the dragons were doing to the planet in this story. This then led the children to consider how they can help look after our planet by saving water, turing out lights, planting more trees etc.
