Homework- Reading at least 3 times a week and record on Boom Reader
Numbots at least twice a week. If you require login details for your child again please request via email.
Anyone who is yet to have brought in a wooden spoon, please do so for Monday so all children have the opportunity to make a story spoon.
We had such a wonderful Winter Walk around Buckden Towers on Wednesday. The children soaked up the sights and sensations of this environment and the vocabulary shared with all the amazing parent helpers was superb. The highlight was certainly the four gorgeous little pigs.
In maths, we have been learning about doubling and children created folded butterfly paintings within their play based learning to explore this further.
In English, we have read versions of the story 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' including a version called 'The Ghanaian Goldilocks'. Next week we shall be making porridge and using thermometers and investigating how the temperature can be altered.
For DT, the children have started to create their story spoons. They are very creative.
