Talk Homework- What makes a hero? Do all heroes have super powers?

Reading at least 3 times a week and record on Boom Reader

Numbots- Continue to challenge yourself with Numbots.

This week we had a Zoom call with Mrs Heal's parents! We learnt all about Thanksgiving and how it is celebrated in America and we wore our turkey hats, which Mrs Heal's parents really loved.

In phonics, we learnt x, y and z. For shared reading, we enjoyed reading the story Jim and the Vet. The children learnt about speech marks and we practised reading in funny voices when we see speech marks in the text. The children also wrote lists of what they would take with them if they were to hibernate.

In Maths, we have been learning about numbers past 5 and using our counting. We practised moving the counters aside as we pulled them from a pile of counters, counting one counter at a time and stopping at the target number.

We've been practising for the nativity. It would help if you could speak with your child about how excited you are to watch them in the show and how proud it will make you to see them on stage.
