In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 13th October

Talk homework: what materials would be good inside a bug house and why?

Spellings next week: Compare: long /u/ (/oo/ue/u_e/ew/u/). Common exception words: most, only, clothes, both, hello.

This week we enjoyed doing dodge ball and speed stacks when it was too wet to do PE. It was much more difficult than we thought to use two hands to stack the cups.

Our global learning has spread across history, geography and English this week when we have been learning about deforestation. We looked at how people can help, like in ‘The Last Wolf’, and then looked at satellite images of how some forests have changed over time.

We have been learning how to subtract by bridging to and through 10. We are now all experts and have chosen the method that we prefer.
