    Talk Homework-We will be doing a science experiment about porridge next week. If you can, take the opportunity to make some porridge with your child and talk about your favourite things to add to it to make it even tastier. Maybe experiment with some different spices and discover a new favourite...cinnamon anyone?

    Talk Homework- This week we read the story 'Home for Grace'. In this book, Grace is a made temporarily homeless and lives with her cat in a door way. Jess and her mum befriend them and make up a gift box for her. This led the children to wonder how they can help people who may not have a home to live in during this cold weather. Please discuss with your child ideas of a simple action we can do as a class to make a difference to people who are in this unfortunate situation. Next week we will be deciding upon our project.

    Talk Homework: Play a game using a dice. Can your child recognise the dice spot quantity without counting? Use Numbots too this week please. With the cold weather, encourage your child to zip up their coat on their own and put their gloves or mittens on independently.

    PE: We are doing indoor PE this half term. Please make sure your child has the appropriate clothing for PE and that all their items of clothing are labelled (including socks). TUESDAY is our PE day.
