Please ensure you are logging all reading on Boomreader. We have sent home Letterjoin logins for you all to access our online platform we use within school to help with letter formation at home. Please make sure you are doing at least 20 minutes of Numbots a week. 

This week the highlight has been practising for the play. The children have been singing the songs non-stop and they even had their first dress rehearsal this afternoon. They did absolutely brilliantly and they were so brave to be stood up in front of the school. 

We have really enjoyed our learning in science as we have now finished our maps. We got to take our little mouse on a walk and the children described what he could see or feel in each season and what he would need to wear. The children also created some winter safety posters and some sun safety posters. 

In maths we looked at counting in 2s, 5s and 10s and we did find it at a little bit tricky but the children showed great resilience and kept persevering. 

In English we have finished 'Claude in the City' and the children got to write a book review to show us their favourite parts.
