7th June 2024

Homework- reading at least 3 times a week and record on Boom reader. Complete some time on Numbots.

Next week on Friday, we will be making vessels to transport a jelly baby safely across the ocean. Please could you send in any small boxes, plastic containers and pots so we have a good selection of junk for children to use.

Thanks.

We have started our new topic- Around the World in ?? Days this week. We are exploring the most beautiful picture book, 'The Yellow Balloon'. This week we talked about different modes of transport. In our play, the children created an aeroplane and we used a globe sat nav and holiday brochures to choose destinations to travel too. We drew city scapes in art and they are absolutely stunning.

In maths, we have learnt about number bonds to 10, part part whole models and spacial awareness using shapes.

In phonics, we have learnt the ear trigraph.

In French, we have started to learn the names of under the sea creatures.
