Friday 1st December

Please complete the four tasks set for you on SATs Companion by next Thursday - apologies that homework was set on Thursday this week rather than Wednesday. Remember to read for at least 20 minutes every day, with at least 3 sessions in the week reading aloud to an adult.

Ensure you can spell this week's spelling words, and are ready for our quiz on Monday: system, antonym, symbol, mystery, lyrics, oxygen, rhythm, symptom, typical, crystal.

Nevaeh:  In English we have written a group poem about Alfie's visit to the hospital.  We began with collecting ideas of words and phrases as a whole class, then we wrote some powerful descriptive lines on our own, then we worked as a group to put our lines together to form a poem.  It was great to work with others and I am proud of our work.

Keira:  In PE we have started to learn a dance which we will be performing at our Christmas Carol Concert.  It was lots of fun!

Bella:  I have really enjoyed Maths this week.  We have been learning how to add, subract, multiply and divide fractions and then we have been solving lots of different reasoning problems which required us to apply all we had learnt.  I was proud that I could succeed in this.
