Can hardly believe that we are half a term finished already! The children have been working hard with a piece of writing using their phonics skills to write captions to match pictures. 

As mentioned above, Mrs Jones visited us and told us all about her school days. We learnt that there were very few toys, the children had an afternoon nap while listening to the radio and everyone went home at dinner time. They were quite shocked to hear that the toilets were outside and that for PE they had to wear only vest and pants, no PE kits like us.

Yesterday, we went on a virtual walk around the village and hunted for various landmarks and facilities in the village. We used this information to create our own model village which you can see above.
