Talk Homework- We will be building a model village at the end of the week. Talk about important places in the village, for example the church or mosque, the shop, the library, grandad's house, etc.

Reading at least 3 times a week and record on Boom reader app.

This week we have been having a consolidation week in phonics -- practising all the phonemes and graphemes we have learnt so far. We have also been practising writing our names every day. In maths we have learnt how to subitise 1, 2 and 3. We've learnt that subitising means that we know a number without having to count. We have also been using a 5 frame to help us with our subitising. We have been having a lovely time learning about the human body and drawing the parts of the body including our bones and interior organs. We have continued to do colour mixing, thinking about autumn colours, and (although the weather hasn't cooperated at all this week) we have been looking for signs of autumn and we collected items we found in our nature area in autumn colours. Next week will be an assessment week in Reading, so there will be no pink books being sent home. Have a lovely weekend!
