We have had another very busy week . Mrs Clarke and Miss Edwards are so proud of the whole class and how hard they have worked.
It was lovely to see you all at the Parent Consultations. We do hope that you found them informative.
English
This week in English we have looked at note writing and Book Reviews . This was linked to our class text 'Claude In The City'.
During our 'Big Write ' the children were encouraged to let their imaginations fly and create their own stories.
Maths
We have used stories ,pictures and concrete materials to explore making equal groups.
Using statements such as 'there are -- groups of --- ' e.g there are 3 equal groups of 5
French
We have been learning the names of animals in French . Playing snap and matching pictures and words.
Global Learning
The children have a food diary to complete at home. We have also discussed how we feel when we are hungry . As a class we have also looked at a map of areas in the country where we may find foodbanks and where people struggle to have enough to eat.

Practice numbers in words up to 20 - twenty
Science
We all got in a line and took turns to plant our own sunflower seed - F C.
We are taking turns to water the pots - M.B.
