 In our Big Write this week we had to write instructions for our wonderful sock puppets

 Maths.

 We have been looking a periods of 'Time' using terms like ' before ' and 'after'.
 We have also talked about 'days' 'weeks' 'months' and 'years' and how this vocabulary is used in Maths.

Global Learning.

 This week in Global Learning we designed and made models of our own sustainable cities. Everyone worked so hard and was very proud of the finished model.
 We enjoyed sharing these with Year 5 and talking about the different elements we had included ; such as roof gardens , solar panels , bicycle paths and   allotments . We really enjoyed looking at the models the Year 5 Class had made based on the top sustainable cities in the world.

 In our lesson we also made a simple plan of Buckden trying to use a key and remembering to include those features important to us.
