Talk homework: what trees do you know, talk about the difference between evergreen and deciduous trees
World book day.
To celebrate world book day this year the children we have had in school in our Year 1 bubble have recorded a video of us reading We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen.

Talk homework: Talk about renewable sources of energy.
Talk homework: talk about high and low sounds as well as fast and slow and loud and quiet.
Talk homework: Talk about the difference between fiction and non fiction texts.
Talk homework: we have been learning about position and direction so try using language such as: above, below, in-between
Also look at turns- quarter turn, half turn, full turn
Finally we have been learning left and right

Talk homework: Look for different plants in your garden or when you're out and about. Which do you recognise and know the names of.
Talk homework: talk about your design for your sensory garden. What are you including in your design and why? If there are any materials form home yoiu would like to use to help make your model please bring them in next week.
Talk homework: talk about the different parts of animals bodies such as fins, legs, fur, horns etc
