Please ensure you are logging all reading on Boomreader. We have sent home letterjoin logins for you all to access our online platform we use within school to help with letter formation at home. Please make sure you are doing at least 20 minutes of numbots a week.

Please practice your spellings for your test on Monday - blue, glue, argue, two, hour, cars.

The children have worked really hard this week and especially enjoyed DT where they were making a prototype of their car out of Lego. The children showed great creativity with their creations.

In History we explored how infrastructure in Buckden has changed over time and in Geography we have begun looking at both natural and human features of Buckden.

In English we have been carrying on with poetry and exploring the poems in 'Out and About'. The children are beginning to discuss what they like about poems and have had the chance to write their own poem.

Within maths we have started to look at 2D and 3D shapes and the children have done brilliantly at recognising them and describing their properties.

If you have any spare plants, your child can bring one into school to help with breathing and allow them to look after their plant. We will find a space within the class for their plant which they can look after and love throughout the year.
